I can't come to the blog right now -- I'm off helping my sister, who's going in for surgery today. She has been struggling with some health issues this year, and hopefully this operation will help her.
Have you ever been inspired just by the people around you? Everyday heroes. Jen is one of those people. She is a great mom, super fun to be with, sassy, always makes you laugh, and yet has a womanly heart and a gift for kindness and compassion. She deals with her own set of troubles, but I see her, time and time again, lay them aside to help a neighbor, a sister, a brother, or a friend in need.
The last few days, Jen's been anxious about this surgery and the recovery afterward. As the word spread in her neighborhood and church ward about her upcoming operation, her chickens came home to roost. The calls starting pouring in. She has meals coming in, clear into next week. Even more people have been calling, looking and asking for ways to help her. When we talked today, she was a lot more relaxed -- happily surprised and touched at all the TLC coming her way.
What goes around, comes around. Love it.
Who inspires you?

Hi! Hope your sister's surgery goes well and that recovery isn't too hard for her. Isn't it amazing how people come together in times of need?
I tagged you for a meme when you come back.
Hi Wendy -
I hope things went well for your Sis? Let us know, ok?
I love that karma came back to her, for all the good she puts out into the world! Please tell her we're all sending her good wishes for a speedy recovering.
